HEALTH

INITIATIVE STATUS
1.     Renovation and commissioning of the maternity ward of the Bawjiase health center in June 2018. Accomplished
2.     Posting of permanent resident doctor to the Bawjiase Health Centre and the renovation of doctors residence in July 2018 Accomplished
3.     Supply of hospital beds in partnership with Oma Senya Italy to Senya Health Center in January 2018. Accomplished
4.     Organization of free medical outreach in Awutu, Bawjiase, Bontrase and Senya Beraku – 1st phase in June,2018 Accomplished
5.     Second wave of medical screening covering five communities namely, Awutu, Senya Beraku, Bawjiase, Obrachire, Krodua 2nd phase in Oct, 2018 Accomplished
6.     Organization of monthly clinics for the aged in partnership with the District Health Directorate held in Bawjiase, Senya Beraku, Awutu Beraku, Bontrase and Papaase with 287 registered, consisting of 218 females and 69 males. Accomplished and still running
7.     Construction of chips compound at Bonsuoku Construction ongoing

EDUCATION

INITIATIVE STATUS
1.     Establishment of MP scholarship scheme that provides financial assistance to tertiary students.

4.     Renovation of Ofadaa Methodist Basic School Completed
5.     Construction of ultramodern 2-classroom nursery block in Beraku. Completed (90%)
6.     Organization of vacation classes for prospective BECE candidates – 2017/2018 with 2007 beneficiaries, including 1899 students, 91 teaching staff, 8 circuit supervisors, 4 coordinators and 4 monitoring officers. Accomplished
7.     Supported with 50 bags of cement towards the renovation of Krobonshi basic school and teachers quarters in July 2018 A contract has been awarded.
8.     Renovation of 3 classrooms at Ofaaso Basic School A contract has been awarded
9.     Organization of Boys Clinic in Senya Senior High with closed to one thousand boys participating from various schools in the district Accomplished
10.  Supply of roofing sheet for the new kindergarten school at Sarkwa Ongoing
11.  Facilitated the registration of an unregistered SHS school in Bontrase into Technical Vocational Training Ongoing
12.  Setting up of community ICT center, music studio and Electronic library at Senya Beraku Completed (60%)
13.  Replacement of roof for the Senya AME Zion A&B kindergarten  school Funded as at Oct 8

14.  Provision of 2 refrigerators, 6 sewing machine, 4 pressing iron, 2 gas cookers, 2 blenders and 2 gas cylinders to the Home Economics Department of Obrachire SHS in partnership with Valco Trust Fund. Accomplished
15.  Provision of 2 refrigerators, 6 sewing machine, 4 pressing iron, 2 gas cookers, 2 blenders and 2 gas cylinders to the Home Economics Department of Bawjiase SHS in partnership with Valco Trust Fund. Accomplished

EMPLOYMENT

1.     120 cooks have been employed under the school feeding program in 49 schools
2.     Facilitated the employment of five (5) graduates into the Ghana Audit service.
3.     Facilitated the employment of Ten(10) graduates into the Ghana Post service.
4.     40 recruited into the Ghana Forestry Commission.
5.     50 recruited into Ghana Cocoa board as cocoa pollinators at Nyarkokwah Electoral area
6.     5 Selected youth got recruited as Youth in Sports under YEA module.
7.     11 selected youth got recruited into one-district-one-factory block factory.
8.     2 selected youth were recruited as drivers in the Awutu Senya assembly.
9.     2 selected youth were recruited as cleaners in the Awutu Senya assembly
10.  9 Selected Islamic youth got selected as Islamic teachers under National Youth Authority
11.  One graduate was recruited as the district NABCO coordinator
12.  One graduate was recruited as the district NADMO coordinator
13.  350 graduates were recruited into the NABCO

WATER

  1. Acquisition of 30-acre landfill site in Bewuranum community
  2. Donated two (2) 500ltr Poly tanks each to Kwame Weittey community and Bewuranum community.

AGRICULTURE

  1. Acquired 30 acre land for agricultural use in Awutu Doduokwaa
  2. Provided a corn milling machine to Nyarkokwah community.
  3. Donated two (2) Motorbikes to the 2018 best Farmers from Nyarkokwah Community during the farmer’s day

SANITATION

  1. Under the sanitation and institutional toilets program, the construction of toilet facilities with 20 water closets, 20 showers, laundry, borehole, furnished reception with TV, powered with Solar, is on-going in the following communities.

SOCIAL AND RELIGION

1.     Supported the construction of the District Muslim Council Office with 100 bags of cement.
2.     Supported the construction of community center at the Kwame Wettey with 50 Bags of cement.
3.     Donation of 100 bags of cement towards the construction of Roman Catholic Church in Bawjiase
4.     Facilitated the erection of network towers at Nyarkokwa electoral area.
5.     190 streetlights have been supplied and fixed within the communities in the district and extra 80 bulbs and its accessories secured and yet to be mounted.
6.     Facilitated the acquisition of passport office in the district
7.     Secured 50 jerseys from the Ministry of youth & sports
8.     Operations, Research, Communications, Women, Youth, Nasara Wings yet to be inaugurated during Regional Executive meeting.

SKILLS AND EMPOWERMENT STATUS
1. GHs 5,000 as a seed fund, 15 Sewing Machines and 15 hairdryers donated to Awutu Queen mothers’ association
2. GHs 5,000  as seed fund donated to Medimafo Tiase K-Dola Skills Training
3. Donated of 5 5ft Gas oven, 5 bags of flour and 5 buckets of margarine  to support the 2018 graduates of Medimafo Tiase K-Dola Skills Traning
4. Promised 28 sewing machines and Ghs 28,000 cash to the 2018 graduate class of the Dressmakers Association at Senya
