HON. GIZZELLA TETTEH-AGBOTUI (MRS.) ADDRESSES HEADS OF DEPARTMENT AND STAFFS OF THE AWUTU SENYA DISTRICT ASSEMBLY.

The just inducted member of Parliament for the Awutu Senya West Constituency Hon. Gizzella Tetteh-Agbotui, on 21st of January, 2021, met with all heads of Department and staff of District Assembly addressing them on how to improve the District, and working hand in hand to make it a better place.

The brief meeting was graced by all Governmental agencies in Awutu Senya District, the District Chief Executive, District Coordinating Director, among other heads. It was held at the Awutu Beraku S.D.A Church.

The District Chief Executive (D.C.E) Hon. Stephen Kwame Quage, expressed his gratitude to all present for making it, even within a short notice. He mentioned that development goes beyond partisan politics, therefore, he asked that the members of Parliament, and her party should help in enhancing development.

Hon. Gizzella Tetteh-Agbotui, explained everyone is a democrat. Therefore, they should all put their political differences aside, so they can all work in peace and harmony. She highlighted that good education and good health, does not favour a particular political party but all, therefore, they should look at it that contest and work wholeheartedly. Hon. Pleaded the apply a bit more technology to what they do at the District. Hon, Gizzella Tetteh-Agbotui gave an instance like having a Facebook live, of a general meeting like they were having, to people insight of what goes on at such meetings and in the district as a whole. She said, we are semi- rural constituency, therefore we must be visionary and innovative.

The D.S.P of Beraku Mr. Joseph Semanyoh informed the Assembly that, the Government has issued a policy to arrest people for not wearing nose Masks in public. Therefore, we should all wear nose masks to avoid the spread of Covid-19.

The Information Officer for the Awutu Senya District Assembly, Madam Lydia Parry, gave the vote of thanks, by first thanking God almighty for a successful program. Madam Parry, thanked Hon. Gizzella Tetteh-Agbotui for officiating the meeting as well as the D.C.E, and his management, for organizing the program. She finally appreciated everyone for coming and a minute of silence, was observed for Mr. Justice Armah’s sudden demise which occurred on Monday 18th January 2021.
