COMMISSIONING OF THE NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE AUTHORITY BUILDING AT AWUTU BERAKU.
The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) together with the Awutu Senya District Assembly, on Friday June 11, 2021 commissioned a new NHIA registration office, to promote easy accessibility to quality healthcare, and to promote the district.
This is the first building constructed by the Awutu Senya District Assembly with its Internally Generated Fund (IGF).
The National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) is a social intervention program introduced by the government to provide financial access to quality healthcare for all residents in Ghana and those who are on a visit to the country. This is an initiative by the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA). To help in quality healthcare and sustainability, the Awutu Senya District Assembly through their common fund, built the Awutu Effutu Senya NHIS District Registration Center to enhance good customer care, and reliability.
