7 Yamaha 40HP outboard motors have been presented to 6 victims of the unfortunate incident that happened on Thursday 26th February 2026 to some fishermen on sea at Senya Bereku.
An additional one was also presented for use in times of emergency.
These presentations were done by the minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Hon. Emelia Arthur on behalf of the President through the MP of Awutu Senya West Constituency,Hon. Gizella Agbotui-Tetteh and the DCE of Awutu Senya District and Hon. Eghan K. Nyamekye.
The beneficiaries and the people of Senya Beraku expressed profound gratitude to the government and all stakeholders for the swift gesture.
